Dr. Brooke Leason

Brooke Leason is a Naturopathic Doctor by calling and passion. Raised in Puerto Rico, she returned to the island after 10 years of studies to practice the medicine she loves and feel passionate about sharing with her community. Throughout her own healing experience she has found that the most rewarding and important aspect of the healing process is the actual journey. “Along this path there is an incredible opportunity to grow, deepen and expand not only in our physical health but our spiritual and mental consciousness.”

The journey led Brooke to Bastyr University in the city of Seattle, Washington, where she completed her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine. “Naturopathic Medicine is a lifestyle and a way of being that I feel honored and committed to sharing. I envision my practice as an entity focused not only providing the best health care I can possibly offer, but also as a pillar of a community that desires change. Change is inevitable and brings many gifts, therefore if we are willing and able to embrace the changes, evolve, by possessing the perfect tools to help us move gracefully through those times, our lives will be enriched beyond what we have ever imagined.” In my practice I strive to provide these tools through guidance and care on the levels of the mind, body and spirit. I am especially passionate about working with family systems, women and children. I believe our children are the foundation of the future generations to come. By supporting a healthy family environment and providing spirit-led healing, nourishing and strengthening medical care, I believe these children will grow stronger and even more capable of leading the way during these swiftly changing times.

My training at Bastyr is considered one of the best Naturopathic medical educations of the time. Our education is one of the most complete and well rounded foundations I could have asked for. I have supplemented my medical education with several internships and many different healing techniques ranging from additional homeopathic training, Cranio-sacral technique, Acutonics therapy, internships at a South Indian hospital, an internship at a woman’s community health clinic, and an internship at a Birth Center in El Paso, Texas where I served Mexican Women and families in natural childbirth. I also completed a 4 year shamanic apprenticeship with a well respected leader in the Seattle area. I have worked closely with the HIV/AIDS as well as the homeless and latino populations in Seattle.

I believe there is strength in diversity. In a progressive community healthcare model, the solution is that we all work together to provide the most complete and effective care by bringing forth our unique skills and gifts. This also involves care for the earth, our natural environment and a growing knowledge of how we can make more conscious, sustainable and healthy choices to benefit all.

I am deeply grateful and honored to have this opportunity to share my own knowledge, experience and passion and to continue to learn from you through our developing relationship.
